Façade Renovation Matching Fund Program Policy

The Green River Main Street Board (the Board) may reimburse matching funds from the Community Chest 501(c)3 Fund for façade renovations in an amount not to exceed $3,000.00 (Three Thousand Dollars). The Board reserves the right to determine the amount to be reimbursed for each project, which may be less than requested amounts and will be contingent upon available funds.

In order to qualify for the program, the following criteria must be met:

  • Building must be located in the Green River Main Street District
  • Building design must be approved by the URA in accordance with Chapter 26 of the City of Green River Code of Ordinances
  • Colors used in painting building exteriors shall favor earth tones
  • Proposed renovations must preserve the special historic and architectural character of the Main Street District (i.e. materials, design, color, signage, etc)
  • All required permits shall be obtained (i.e. building permits, etc)
  • It is the applicants’ responsibility to comply with all city, state and federal regulations.
